Jenna Dewan was spotted all-smiles without wedding ring for the first time since announcing split

April 2 was the day when Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum made it official to their fans that they had “lovingly chosen to separate as a couple.” To say their fans were shocked would be an understatement as no one saw it coming seeing as they had been so loving as a couple. Well, the two had not been photographed together at events for over two months before the breakup, but they still graced each other’s Instagram pages. Then they announced a breakup and the world stood still for a second.

After the announcement, Jenna was spotted heading for yoga the following morning with her wedding ring intact. She kept it on for a while until April 7 when Entertainment Tonight announced that the actress had been spotted without it while shopping in Chinatown, Los Angeles.

Before separation, Jenna had opened up to Health Magazine that her marriage to Tatum was not all roses. She admitted there were days they did not like each other, but they looked forward to the great fits that made marriage beautiful.

“When people say you guys have such a perfect life, I want to scream and tell them no one’s perfect. I think there are such things as great fits. It is a great fit as long as you are growing together, and I think up until this point we’ve really grown together. Even if one starts to grow, the other catches up and vice versa. But I think a couple needs to be conscious and to want to do the work and be willing to look at the parts of you that need work. Both of us have been pretty aware and willing to do that.”

Word on the street is that the couple grew apart as they didn’t spend enough time together. A source told ET that they attempted to save their marriage with the 21 Jump Street actor even not taking new projects for over a year to spend more time at home with his family, but that wouldn’t last forever.
