Mariah Carey shares very unflattering throwback photo of herself where she's hardly recognized
Mariah Carey guards her brand so fiercely that it is hard to see her looking less than perfect at all times. On April 9, the Daily Mail reported that the superstar was looking at her less than perfect moments and we picked that up to bring you this report.
The latest “If you don’t love me at my…” trend has caught Twitter and is spreading rapidly. Mariah Carey, being the queen of memes, found an unflattering photo of herself from archives and posted it under the said caption, causing an uproar on the internet. She has been super guarded for the most part of her public life and this photo made people see a different side of hers.
The trend involves one posting a less attractive photo of themselves and then following it up with a more attractive one. The caption; 'If you don't love me at [less attractive picture], then you don't deserve me at [more attractive picture]' is mandatory to participate.
For a while, some fans thought that the unflattering photo of Mariah was of her at some point in her life, while in the real sense, it was for when she was cast on the Oscar-winning movie ‘Precious.’ In the movie, she played a social worker named Ms. Weiss and transformed her appearance by wearing minimal make-up and dowdy, baggy outfits on-screen. She also swapped her hair in a dark brown, shoulder-length bob.
The attractive version, though heavily edited, is of the Mariah we all have come to know. Twitter followers received it all well praising the diva for showing the world a different side of her and agreed that we all deserve to be loved at both our best and worst.
