With the wedding date of May 19 quickly approaching, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle make a delightful announcement that is sure to please many of the supporters of the British Royal Family.

According to Faith Family America, the soon-to-be royal couple has asked all the attendees of the wedding to not bring any wedding gifts. Rather, they have requested everyone to donate to one of their selected charities.

The source further confirmed that Harry and Markle have selected seven charities for the purpose. As per a statement from the Kensington Palace, the charities cover 'a range of issues that they are passionate about.'

The royal couple wants to show their gratitude for all the love and support showered toward them by the public. For this, they want to 'share in' their wedding with the public by donating to the charity.

Another crucial charity chosen by the couple was Crisis, the Myna Mahila Foundation, which aims to empower the women in Mumbai's urban slums.

Other charities include Scotty's Little Soldiers, which helps the bereaved children of Armed Forces, and StreetGames, a unique charity that uses sports to empower young people.
