According to ABC, the next episode of the revival series will air on May 1, 2018, and will be part of a four-episode marathon, reported Pop Culture.

Fans will have to wait until the next month for a new episode of Roseanne. The much-loved revival will take the time slot with the rest of the ABC Comedy lineup.

The episode on the first day of the next month will be titled, No Country for Old Women. It will revolve around Bev, played by Estelle Parsons, who was seen returning to the Conner household on the last episode, April 17.

The episode synopsis stated that Beverly gets kicked out of the nursing home, while Roseanne, played by Roseanne Barr, and Jackie, played by Laurie Metcalf, fight in order to decide who will take care of their mother.

Mark’s efforts to build a birdhouse for Dan’s customer is something the latter cannot handle, but Darlene comes to the rescue of her son.

Parsons though made a triumphant return to the show, the reason she was asked to leave her nursing home was a shocking one.

Roseanne is the latest among a number of shows that have been brought back to life. Full House, The X-Files, and Will & Grace all aired new episodes in the past year.

The show was one of the most successful shows of the 90’s and came back with a two-episode premiere after more than 20 years.

If the 222-episode original was a hit, the latest season was also welcomed by the fans and made a massive impact in the Nielsen ratings, according to Variety.

The back-to-back episodes provided a sense of nostalgia for its viewers generating a stunning 5.1 rating and 18.2 million viewers.

To put the numbers into perspective, NBC’s Will & Grace drew a 3.0 rating with 10.2 million viewers tuning in for the premiere, while Big Bang Theory’s prequel, Young Sheldon, drew 3.8 and 17.2 million viewers.

The schedule stated that the four episodes, Twenty Years to Life, Dress to Impress, Eggs Over, Not Easy, and Darlene v. David, will be aired starting at 8 p.m. ET, while the episode Roseanne Gets the Chair will not be part of the marathon.
