Cancer has risen enormously over the past 10 decades and is the second leading cause of death worldwide. This disease has become one of the most notorious conditions within the medical realm and even around the media.

According to Hogar Natural, this is due to the fact that aggressive procedures need to be used to alleviate some of the damage it causes.

Though it can also occur, the spread of anal cancer through the blood is less common.

Many people are not aware of this condition's symptoms due to its location. They often ignore it that's why a lot of individuals are expected to die from anal cancer.

The common signs of anal cancer include rectal bleeding, rectal itching, a mass at the anal opening, pain or a feeling of fullness in the anal area, narrowing of stool or other changes in bowel movements, and abnormal discharge from the anus.

Numerous factors have been discovered to increase the risk of anal cancer, including older age.

People over 60 years old are the most prone to suffer this medical condition as they represent more than 80% of anal cancer cases. This disease is more common in women.

There are many ways of knowing if one is suffering from anal cancer, including anoscopy, the examination of anus and rectum using an anoscope.

Other well-known procedures to discover anal cancer are biopsies, ultrasounds, MRIs, X-rays, and computed axial tomographies.

While most of these exams and procedures are obnoxious to undergo, if it's something done to save a life, then it's a bargain.
