'Sister Wives' stars Meri & Kody Brown enjoy their anniversary in a new pic amid divorce rumors
The couple seems to have put their differences at rest on their special day.
According to In Touch Weekly, the marriage troubles between Sister Wives star Kody Brown and his wife Meri Brown may have reduced.
The couple recently celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary, and despite their bitter marriage testimonies shared in the last season, the duo appeared to have had a great day.
Meri took to social media to share a picture of herself posing with Kody on the day after their marriage anniversary last week.
The couple looked happy in the selfie taken against the backdrop of a city crossroad lit with street lights and bustling with traffic. An overjoyed Meri captioned the photo by revealing the story behind the capture.
She wrote that while she was in Chicago attending the last day of a leadership program conducted by the brand LuLaRoe on that day, Kody surprized her by flying down to Chicago to meet her.
Meri added that she found the gesture incredibly sweet and romantic, and they spent the rest of the day with each other.
In the light of this recent update, it seems that the couple has managed to overcome the marital woes that they opened up about in the show’s special episode.
The couple had spoken about how things went south after Meri was the victim of a catfishing incident 3 years ago. The couple had become uncertain about their longevity but went to couple’s therapy without giving up.
Kody had stated that he and Meri were on the verge of healing. The polygamist acknowledged that some of the problems had piled up through over 2 decades of their relationship.
The reality star admitted that the problems would not be solved by a mere vacation and that they would need to put in a lot of work to make their marriage work again.
