Everyone saw it coming when Derick Dillard was fired from reality show ‘Counting On’ after several derogatory comments about his co-stars.

In the wake of Derick’s exit from the show, his wife Jill Duggar has gone back to working as a midwife.

The soon-to-be Mum took to Instagram to debut her midwifery profession as she posted a photo of herself holding a newborn baby in a blue blanket.

She proudly captioned the way photo,

‘Got to help deliver this chunkier the other day! Sam helped me #laborsit then napped like a champ when the child came.’

She earlier revealed that she started her midwife service called Labor Sit.

Jill and her husband Derick have two sons Samuel and Israel and are currently expecting another child.

Derick got fired from the show ‘Counting On’ when he made derogatory remarks on social media about his transgender co-star Jazz Jennings. After being fired from the show in November, Derick made things worse when he created a GoFundMe account as asked fans to donate money.

Derick being a conservative Christian used his religion as a bait to get people to donate as he cited missions work as a reason for needing the money.

From that moment, it was evident that Derick being fired from the show did a number on the family’s financial state.

Jill who knows about midwifery decided to use the opportunity to make some money for the family but, fans aren’t having it as many claim that Jill isn’t properly licensed for midwife work.

Some fans went further to point out that Jill has only been granted a CPM competency certificate, not a Certified Nurse Midwife license which is essential for her to practice.

Despite the allegations, Jill is still running her midwifery service, and we guess she’s doing great at it.
