Wife takes husband out to celebrate his 50th birthday, gives him the best surprise ever

Wife took her husband for a casual birthday launch. Little did he know that a few emotional surprises were in store for him.

Jeff Grimm received a special surprise on his 50th birthday when his two sons, U.S. soldiers, who remain away from home, returned to celebrate the special occasion.

According to Inspiring, his wife, Melanie, planned the surprise for weeks with her two sons as well as her daughter, who also showed up later to add to the delight of the proud father.

Their son, Dane, joined the Marines and had to stay away for various assignments. Similarly, son Drew was in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in Italy.

The source suggested that it was a rare situation when the two brothers came home together and the entire family, along with their sister, got together at once.

So, when Dane and Drew burst into the restaurant where Melanie had taken Jeff out for a birthday launch, he could not control his emotions and burst into tears.

“I couldn’t have got a better reaction out of him even if I tried it 100 times over—he’s not usually the emotional kind, be [sic] he couldn’t help but cry when he saw his boys,” the source quoted Melanie as revealing.

The emotional wife also explained how only a few days prior to the big surprise, Jeff had expressed his desire to have all of his three children back home for his birthday.

What Jeff did not know was that Melanie and her children had been planning the same thing for weeks prior to his birthday.

Birthdays are always a special occasion and when it's you 50th one, the call for celebrations are also bigger. By Jeff's reaction captured in the video, it was obvious that his loving family members made his special day one to remember for years.
