A woman named Lexi decided to lose weight with her husband as a way to be healthy again. What she didn’t expect is that they would get many followers who would be inspired by them.
She had opened an Instagram account to share her weight-loss journey. Goodfullness reported that as Lexi shed the weight, she started posting images of herself wearing her bigger clothes that no longer fit.
When Lexi and her husband, Danny, began their joint weight-loss pact in 2016, they weighed a combined 765 pounds. Danny was 280 pounds and Lexi was nearly 500 pounds.
Over the past two years, they have lost 400 pounds together. It’s hard to believe that this is the same couple when you see their before and after pictures.
The couple said the main reason why they succeeded on their journey was that they had each other. Lexi began the process as a size 28 and has since gone down to a 10.
Her husband has gone down from a 46 pant size to a 32.
‘#throwbackthursday to my wedding bra & when they fitted me into a 52F bra. When I married @discoveringdanny on October 3rd, 2015 - I weighed 485lbs.’

One of the methods they used to help them lose weight was to cut out all of the fast food that they had grown to rely on. The couple celebrated their transformation with a racy image on Instagram.
Initially, the two started the social media page as a harmless way for them to track their weight-loss. The page now has over a half a million followers.
The added audience allowed them to push even more as people encouraged and looked up to them. Lexi even posted a couple of pictures were she’s wearing the clothes that she used to wear when she was bigger.
In one image she could be seen smiling as she has her old bra draped onto her chest. The images bring to light the shocking reality of how much weight she’s really lost.
The couple also looks younger and happier now than before. Some images show before and after moments that they had shared together.
This couple is a reminder that you can do anything if you put your mind to it.
