'Roseanne' pays emotional tribute to a co-star who tragically passed away
The reboot of the famous popular sit-com dedicates a special episode in the memory of one of the late actors.
The April 10 episode of Roseanne paid tribute to one of the original cast members of the famous show, Glenn Quinn, who passed away before there were even talks about the reboot.
Pop Culture wrote that in the episode, Becky, played by Lecy Goranson, finds out that her eggs are not 'acting her age,' which has led to her failure to have any children.
After the shocking revelation, Becky gets emotional which leads her to talk about the events following the death of her husband from the original episodes, Mark - which was played by Quinn.
Becky is seen confiding in her sister that "her life wasn't supposed to turn out like this." She also tells during the episode that she and Mark were going to have kids."
When her sister, Darlene, responds by asking when was the couple trying to have children, Becky answers, "Like, all the time."
Darlene then goes on to express her disbelief in her statement saying that she never expected Becky wanting to have children. "I just assumed you never wanted kids because you never had any," Darlene says.
Becky then replies that she did not have any children because she never met anyone after Mark's death with whom she wanted to have children.
Her sister then follows this conversation by suggesting her to "move on" in her life and not to consider it as betraying the memory of Mark.
At the end of the episode, viewers are shown a card that had an emotional message in homage to the later actor. The message was dedicated 'to the loving memory of Glenn Quinn, who died of a drug overdose in 2002.'
Quinn's body was discovered at a friend's house in North Hollywood, California in 2002. He was only 32 years of age at the time.
