Serena Williams breaks her silence on the approaching Royal wedding
Professional tennis player, Serena Williams, took time out from the screening of her new documentary to share thoughts about the upcoming Royal wedding.
The mother-of-one is close friends with 36-year-old Suits star, Meghan Markle, and said that she is 'super happy' for the bride-to-be.
As reported by Entertainment Tonight Online, the duo has been friends for more than three years now, and they were first spotted together at the US Open in January 2015.
On April 25, 2018, Williams released her HBO documentary, Being Serena, and indulged reporters when they asked her about her friend's wedding.

"I'm obviously super happy for her. She's such a great girl, and she is incredibly nice, and I couldn't be happier for her."

Williams tied the knot on December 29, 2016, with Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian. Her own nuptials was described as a fairytale wedding, and Williams had some preparation advice for Markle.
She wants Markle to cherish the preparation and the planning because even if it is tedious and riddled with obstacles, it will be over before she realizes.
Before Markle began dating her Prince, she managed a successful lifestyle blog called The Tig. She deleted the website when her Royal relationship status became public knowledge.

According to
Markle wrote an entry on her blog about her friendship with Williams , while the website was still active.
Markle described Williams as a 'confidante I would text when I was traveling,' and added that the tennis superstar is the 'down to earth' type of person she feels comfortable to be around.
Williams also shared tidbits about her daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr., with reporters, as well as the difficulties she had to overcome when returning to tennis after her extended break.
However, she did not confirm whether she will be attending Prince Harry and Markle's nuptials on May 19, 2018, at St. George's Chapel in Windsor.
