Mike 'The Solution' Sorrentino announced on Thursday, April 26, 2018, that he was officially off the market after proposing to his girlfriend of fours years, Lauren Pesce.

The reality star took to his Instagram page to share the wonderful news with his fans and followers by publishing a photo of him and his future wife on a carousel, as reported by People.

But that wasn't the only picture that Sorrentino posted; he also had one where he got down on one knee and present the ring to Pesce, who didn't seem to expect the proposal.

The following picture had the caption 'SHE SAID YES!!!,' and depicted the soon-to-be bride being held in the air by Sorrentino in what seems to be a pier.

Much like any bride, Pesce also took to her Instagram page to show off her ring. The beautiful blonde posted a close-up photo of her face resting on her right hand, putting the engagement rock on display.

The couple met in college and dated for four years before drifting apart, which happened around the time that Sorrentino joined the Jersey Shore crew. After the show, they rekindled their relationship.

According to the TV stud, Pesce has seen him through his best and worst times and has always been by his side helping him overcome several obstacles.

Sorrentino confessed that he used to be addicted to prescription drugs and that those days were over after spending 60 days in rehab in 2012.

But not everything is going well for Sorrentino. The reality star has been accused of tax evasion, to which he pleaded guilty in January, in a New Jersey federal court.

The 35-year-old faces up to 5 years in prison and will learn his sentence on June 20, according to Radar Online. Sorrentino commented that he would accept the punishment and try to move on with his life.
