Recent studies revealed that sugar isn't optimal for a healthy diet and Shane Cooper decided her daughter wasn't going to eat as much sugar as children usually do.

According to Upsocl, many people associate candy with children, but this mother decided she wasn't going to feed her daughter with it.

Grace Cooper is a girl who has never eaten sugar in her lifetime, as her mother is giving her the paleo diet, which prohibits cereal and dairy intake.

Shan Cooper promotes eating as our ancestors did back in the day. The cavemen could only find meat, fish, eggs, fruits, and vegetables.

Grace's usual breakfast consists of coconut oil fried eggs with grilled vegetables as a side dish, including things like sweet potatoes, carrots, potatoes, and broccoli. She also eats avocado and a little bit of sauerkraut.

Several studies have proven that sugar isn't good for a healthy lifestyle, stating that it can affect our brains, with a study from the British Journal of Sports Medicine revealing that it is as addictive as cocaine.

That's the reason there are thousands of people who already gave up on their children's' sugar intake, trying to avoid future health problems.

"Grace spends a lot of time with sick children, but she never gets sick for that. I firmly believe that a nutrient-rich diet is providing her with a strong immune system," Shan said.

After years struggling with food allergies, Shan designed her diet giving up on dairy, gluten, and any processed foods, as she wasn't feeling her best.

When her little girl was born, the mother slowly introduced her to the lifestyle. Alongside the paleo diet, she breastfeeds her daughter twice a day.

Although this strict diet is giving her a stronger immune system, Shan lets Grace eats sweets if she's invited to a birthday party or something like that.

Shan also stated that when the little girl was old enough to understand her choices, she won't enforce any strict diets on her.

Through her Instagram, Shan shares different recipes while also showing off her healthy lifestyle and while her daughter eats sweets, they're just healthier alternatives she cooks with her mother.
