The 'Jon & Kate Plus 8' stars reveal what their family is really like today
The famous reality show was once one of the most favorites reality program among the fans. Here's how the family is today.
The star couple of Jon and Kate Plus 8, Jonathan and Kate Gosselin, got separated during the course of the reality show. Their family of a set of twins and sextuplets has been one of the most popular families on reality television.
People had always been curious about how the parents would be able to raise their eight children together.
However, after John and Kate parted ways, their show has been renamed to Kate Plus 8 and is focused on following the life of Kate as she raises her children by co-parenting them with Jon.
According to Shared, Jon and Kate today live separate lives and are not very positive about one another.
Kate blamed Jon for turning into a different person who enjoys spending money more than spending time with the family. She revealed that Jon had turned into a different person "overnight." She also accused him of staying out all night while she looked after their children.
Similarly, Jon has accused Kate of being a "control freak," who sets strict and demanding rules on him as well as their children.
One of the strict rules that Kate has set is that Jon is not allowed to see more than four children at once. He said that he had not seen all of his eight children at in three to four years.
She has also banned cell phones and put household chores above any other thing in the children's life - even their homework or scheduled visits to Jon's house.
Amid the differences between their parents, all eight of Gosselin children have grown up and might be unrecognizable to many earlier audiences of the show.
Mady and Cara are now 17 years old. They were only six years old when the reality show began. Both of them stated that filming their lives as a part of the reality show has "helped" their lives.
The Gosselin sextuplets have also turned 13 now, making Jon and Kate the proud parents of eight teenagers. Aaden, Alexis, Collin, Hannah, Joel, and Leah were all one-year-old infant during the first broadcast of the show.
