Wendy Williams slams Kanye West for weight gain after recent photos he was caught on
The outspoken TV host describes the rapper as Rob Kardashian on his "worst day". "He blew up like a woman!", she adds.
Just as rumors are claiming he’s suffering another mental breakdown, Kanye West is further criticized by Wendy Williams for his strange weight gain. Hollywood Life shared all the harsh details.
During a recent ‘Hot Topics’ segment of her show, Williams released quite a handful of cutting words referring to an April 25 photo of West who seemed to have put on a lot of weight when he was captured leaving his Calabasas office.
Directing her signature pointer at West’s physique in the photo, the TV host couldn’t help but laugh when she initially described the rapper as having “fatty knock knees.”
As she further criticized Kim Kardashian’s husband for his weight gain, she later compared him to his brother-in-law Rob Kardashian who in 2014 also packed on a lot of pounds. However, Williams opined West looked even “worse than Rob on Rob’s worst day.”
Apart from describing the 40-year-old singer’s belly as “slob” and his body from the neck down to be “a mess,” Williams harshly added,
“You never even knew he had the body to get that big all over like that. At least Rob gained his [weight] in the belly and the booty… Kanye blew up like a woman. You know how hard you have to eat to get this [points to the pic] as a man?”
And if that wasn’t enough the host joked she would love to have West’s photo framed in her office describing it as “the picture that keeps on giving.”
Prior to her scathing review of West’s body, the 53-year-old talk show star also slammed him earlier for his recent controversial Twitter rants pledging his support for President Donald Trump. Believing the rapper indeed has mental issues, she said,
“I find his rants and his tweeting and his behavior very boring.”
Meanwhile, the troubled singer’s wife has been doing her best to defend her husband from accusations against his mental health. She released a series of rants herself condemning those who are quick to judge West.
“To the media trying to demonize my husband let me just say this… your commentary on Kanye being erratic & his tweets being disturbing is actually scary. So quick to label him as having mental health issues for just being himself when he has always been expressive is not fair.”

Still not contented, she sent out another tweet to prove her point.
“Mental Health is no joke and the media needs to stop spitting that out so casually. Bottom line”.

West had recently returned to Twitter after months on hiatus following his mental breakdown last year. Seemingly overly expressive in his comeback, many wondered if he was once again suffering a mental breakdown. It didn’t help that he also recently fired his management and other team members, behavior others think borders on being “erratic.”
Nevertheless, his wife merely shrugs off her husband’s Twitter rants as part of his being his expressive and creative self.
It’s a good thing West has been very busy lately. It should keep his mind off the criticisms coming his way. His latest album is set to be released on June 1. He’s also working on ‘Kids See Ghost’, a joint album with Kid Cudi that’s hitting the music stands on June 8. Three other albums he’s producing will also be released within the next months – Pusha T on May 25, Nas on June 15 and Teyana Taylor on June 22.
