Mama June shares sweet photo of her granddaughter as she turns 4 months old

The proud grandmother posts a celebratory photo that sparks questions over a mysterious mark on Ella Grace's forehead.

She recently welcomed her first grandchild with daughter Lauryn ‘Pumpkin” Shannon and now four months later, proud grandmother Mama June marked the special day with an adorable photo of little Ella Grace Effird channeling her 4-month-old charm.

On April 9, the ‘Mama June: From Not to Hot’ matriarch expressed her joy over her little grandchild’s four-month milestone by sharing a sweet photo of the baby as she lay on a blanket with her name and the numbers 1 to 12 on it. With a wreath of flowers encircling the number 4, the daughter of Pumpkin with boyfriend Joshua Effird laid on a blank space wearing a floral patterned onesie and a pink pair of leggings matched with little white sneakers. To complete her look, her bald head was adorned with a light blue headband resulting to a pretty little bundle of joy.

Though the photo earned adoring comments from fans, Café Mom revealed many couldn’t help but notice the dark patch on the little girl’s forehead prompting them to inquire about the reason for the scar. But as questions remained unanswered, theories over what happened to Ella’s head emerged. Some guessed she bumped her head, others presumed it was a mosquito bite. Still another went as far as guessing it was a scar “from her mom pushing hard at birth.” However, more observant followers shut down that theory saying the controversial patch wasn’t there in previous posts.

While fans remain intrigued over Ella’s forehead mishap, the show goes on for the Shannons who’ll be back on air in June. A few weeks after her controversial post, Mama June shared a teaser for their upcoming episodes where she’s supposedly taking on the pageant scene with the help of her daughter Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson who’ll serve as her coach. However, she appears in a wedding gown sparking rumors of a June wedding instead.

Earlier this year, the 38-year-old Mama debuted her brand new boyfriend, Geno Doak on her show and she admitted feeling like a kid again after finding new love. As her 42-year-old beau is her first since shedding almost 300 lbs off her weight, it appears June is hyped up to make this work. Speaking to Us Weekly, she admitted being happy and even flashed a diamond ring on her finger which she also denied being an engagement ring.

If indeed Mama June will be walking down the aisle soon remains to be seen. Fans are bound to find out when her show returns.
