But how is Kel Mitchell now? What happened to him and how did he turn out? AmoMama gathered details from Stanton Daily.

The “Good Burger” sketch with Kenan Thompson became an instant hit and Kel Micthell’s fate changed as he starred in the 1997 Good Burger film with Kenan. After which, Nickelodeon gave then their own series called Kenan & Kel in 1996.

For a time, a tension came up between Kenan and Kel when they made one last "Good Burger" sketch in 2012 on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Kel revealed that Kenan did not want to work with him again.

“The truth is Kenan does not want to be seen with me in any form of media, or even have my name mentioned around him. I have not been upset about this.”

Both former Nickelodeon teen stars have put their differences aside. Kel is now a husband to rapper Asia Lee. He has three children—Allure and Lyric from his first wife, Tyisha Hampton, and Wisdom with Asia Lee. He has become spiritual in recent years and also work as a motivational speaker and lends his voice to the cast of Veggie Tales.

It looks like after two decades, Kel’s career is still flourishing.
