Mama June’s daughter Pumpkin tied the knot with long-term boyfriend in Las Vegas

Despite their family's previous reluctance, young parents Pumpkin and Josh are finally married.

Just months after welcoming their first child, Mama June’s daughter Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon and her beau Josh Efird are now husband and wife.

A source for Radar Online has confirmed the young couple tied the knot in Las Vegas over the last weekend of April. The source also revealed the wedding would be featured in the upcoming season of ‘Mama June: From Hot to Not’ as there were cameras documenting the ceremony.

Dressed in bridal attire complete with a white veil and a pink sash as photos obtained by Radar Online revealed, the 18-year-old bride was also accompanied by her mother and sister Alana Thompson on her big day. Her older sister Anna was not in attendance, as she herself confirmed to the publication.

Last December, the newly married couple welcomed their baby girl, and though it was reported that Josh had proposed marriage to his girlfriend back in 2016, his family didn’t approve of their marrying too young, specially his grandmother, Linda Efird.

But now that they have a baby, it seems the family has had a change of heart and the couple got the go signal to wed.

While the wedding was definitely real, there were no marriage records in Nevada. This could only mean they decided to have a civil ceremony, just like Pumpkin’s mother did when she married her ex-husband Sugar Bear in the backyard of her Georgia home.
