Beloved star is returning to 'The Young and the Restless' in a major way
The character had been missing from the show for over a year.
The Young and the Restless has been in the news since the Daytime Emmy Awards were conducted earlier this month, with Eileen Davidson and Camryn Grimes bagging awards for their roles
However, according to E! News, another acclaimed actress is set to make news by appearing on the show. The popular television actress had a 5-month stint with the show, before her last-aired episode in April 2017.
The actress making the much-anticipated comeback is Erika Girardi, who is set to return as Farrah Dubose on the show’s upcoming episodes.
After working together with Davidson previously on The Real Housewives of Beverley Hills and The Young and the Restless, Girardi will share the screen with her in a few episodes of the CBS show yet again.
Although the exact story behind her comeback is unknown, Dubose will be seen having conversations with some of the show’s main characters, in an attempt to help a bachelor find a home in Genoa City
Girardi first worked with The Young and the Restless team in December 2016, when her co-star Davidson arranged for her to join the show, as reported by Bravo TV.
Her short-lived role on the show won her a lot of attention, and she had received several requests to get back on the series. The popular soap is in its 44th season, and the episodes featuring Girardi are said to be pivotal to the plot.
Beyond her two major television roles, Girardi also appeared on Dancing With The Stars last year. She is also a singer with a huge following, especially in the genre of Dance Club music.
In 2018, she also became a published bestselling author when her book Pretty Mess turned out to be a major success. Girardi’s episodes on The Young and the Restless are set to air on June 4 and June 6.
