Mom loses son in Walmart and finds him praying on his knees
The sight of a young boy kneeling in prayer warmed hearts around the world.
His mother shared her heart-warming experience at Walmart on the Facebook page, KVNE.
'I had to run into Walmart. I turned around to make sure my son was next to me. Instead of finding him by my side I found him kneeling in front of the missing children board praying,' she wrote next to a photo of her little boy praying
It appears that the boy, whose name is Braydon, was praying for the safety and welfare of the missing children.
The bulletin board in front of him shows photos and details of missing persons, including teens and children.
The heartwarming post, which was shared on the KVNE Facebook page on July 18, 2017, has gone viral. As of May 10, 2018, the post has been shared more than 100,000 times.
'Whether or not you believe in God really doesn't matter. This was a child in Walmart who was thinking about others and doing the only thing he could to help. The world would be a better place if everyone followed his example,' wrote Erin Voeller.
Carolyn Sue Johnson Capps wrote, 'What a tender young caring heart. Lord, please hear and answer his prayers.'
Another Facebook user shared the same experience with her own daughter.
'My daughter has done this too. She often wants me to read each name. I like that she takes the time to remember that they are people, missing people, with loved ones who worry about them and that they aren't just a face on a wall. Bless this boy,' wrote Brittany Fejfar Coffer.
According to a report by USA Today, 90,000 people, on average, are missing in the USA at any given time. Sixty percent of the missing people are adults over 18 years old while 40 percent are minors.
