After so many talent shows and auditioning so many contestants, the 'The Voice' judges believed they had seen and heard it all. They were about to be stunned by one lone young man, reported ShareTap.com on the 6th of May 2018.

Boy George, Kelly Rowland, Delta Goodrem, and Joe Jonas were sitting in their chairs as always, facing the audience when a young man walked on stage and hooked up to a sound table. What was to follow was a display of musical and vocal virtuosity.

Sam Perry created his own instrumental track with his own voice; an eery mix of techno beat and vibrant a capella singing. After just one minute the judges were facing him, astounded to discover the fabulous rhythms they were listening to were produced by the man on stage.

Perry then started singing his own rendition of When Doves Cry by Prince and created a unique musical arrangement for that popular song.

The judges and the audience went wild, and Joe Jonas threw himself on to the set floor to express his admiration. One by one the judges rose to their feet and commented on Perry's performance and voice.

Every judge was begging Perry to be on his team, but the young man finally chose Kelly Rowland as his coach. Some people felt that what Perry does is not compatible with the show's direction, which is geared to fostering vocal talents.

Others pointed out that Perry not only sings beautifully, but uses his amazingly versatile voice as a musical instrument.

'The Voice' fans are eager to watch his development on the show under the guidance of Kelly Rowland, who defined him and his performance as "game-changing."
