Donald Trump gives health update on wife after Melania Trump was hospitalized

Melania Trump had to go to the hospital recently due to an operation that she needed to undergo. Her husband, President Donald Trump, revealed how the procedure went.

In the tweet, Donald shared that his wife was doing well. The Guardian also reported that the operation was successful but that Melania would be staying at the hospital for the rest of this week.

On Monday the White House reported that Melania would probably be at the hospital for the rest of the week. This was after she underwent a procedure to treat a benign kidney condition.

Donald tweeted that he would be going to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center to see her. He also shared on Tuesday that she was doing well and would leave the hospital in two to three days .

In a statement released before Tuesday, the White House Communications Director Stephanie Grisham shared that the operation had been successful. She added that there had been no complications.

‘This morning, First Lady Melania Trump underwent an embolization procedure to treat a benign kidney condition. The procedure was successful and there were no complications.’

Last week the First Lady launched her own personal project called ‘Be Best.’ This initiative intends to help children counter bullying.

It’s particularly aimed at online bullying and it encouraged children to behave with more consideration and kindness on social media platforms. Before then, she had previously been lauded for hosting a lavish dinner at the White House.

It was for the state visit by Emmanuel Macron, France’s President, and his wife. The statement by Grisham also revealed that Melania looked forward to a full recovery so she could continue her work on behalf of children everywhere.
