Famous TV host attacks Meghan Markle's estranged sister during show

Meghan Markle’s half-sister, Samantha Grant Markle appeared on television for an interview. She was hoping to clarify her father’s decision for not attending Meghan’s wedding.

Instead, one of the hosts of Good Morning Britain, Piers Morgan, was having none of it and called out Samantha on her past statements. The interview aired on May 15, 2018.

During the interview about her father Samantha Markle, 53, called the media vultures. To which Piers Morgan replied that she was, in fact, the “little vulture” in the whole situation.

The host kept badgering Samantha and even asked her how much money she had made from trashing Meghan Markle. Thomas Markle, 73, was caught staging paparazzi photos of himself this week.

“You say this is all the media’s fault because the media has been treating him in a shabby way, many of our viewers may have watched your activities and think you have treated your sister Meghan in a very shabby way.”

Samantha took the blame for the fake photo shoot in a tweet Monday. She claimed that she was the one who suggested the idea which was meant for the benefit of the royal family.

The aim of the shoot was to rebrand their father in the eyes of the public and media. Meghan’s half-sister shared that her father had suffered a lot at the hands of the media and it was enough.

Morgan felt that she wasn’t being honest about her role in all the drama. He told her that she had spent the last two years criticizing Meghan, calling her a narcissist and selfish.

The host insisted that Samantha had stated that Hollywood had changed her sister and Prince Harry shouldn’t marry her. Morgan wanted to know how she could call the media vultures if she was the main one to blame.

Samantha defended herself by declaring that Morgan was using statements that she hadn’t uttered herself. Morgan, in turn, insisted that Thomas had let his daughter down by staging the images.

Thomas had announced on Monday that he was pulling out of the Royal wedding to avoid embarrassing his daughter and the Royal Family. He also revealed on the same day that he had suffered a heart attack last week.

Samantha blamed immense stress brought on by media attention for causing his heart attack. She shared that he’d once called her while on the freeway panicking because he was being followed by seven or eight cars.

Meghan’s sister said this had been a dangerous situation for her father as could be seen in examples in history. She appeared to be alluding to Princess Diana’s fatal 1997 car crash
