Transgender trio’s spicy performance wows judges at talent show
When these girls took the stage, the audience was automatically drawn to their confident energy, but they had a surprise in store.
The singing trio, calling themselves Miss Tres, looking ready to dazzle when they stepped out onto the stage in silver sequined mini dresses and matching high heels.
As can be seen in their audition tape uploaded to YouTube, they politely introduced themselves to the judges, explaining that they are from the Philippines and are hoping to be as big as Destiny's Child and the Spice Girls.
The judges invited them to sing, at which point the opening chords of Tom Jones' Sex Bomb began to play.
In a coordinated dance, the women started to move around the stage. It was only when they opened their mouths that both the audience and the judges realized something extra unique about this group: all three women are transgender.
Despite the shock, the crowd quickly gets behind them, as their voices are perfectly suited to the sultry number.
Not only do they sing well, but they dance along to the entire number in their choreographed routine and high heels.
By the end of the song, both the show's hosts, Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly, are clapping along to the tune in the wings.
Judge David Walliams has also gotten up and started to dance to the music. The entire audience is up on its feet applauding the women.
Fortunately, by the end of the performance when judge Simon Cowell asks the women if they were sneakily hiding a secret from them at the beginning, they all have a great sense of humor about the big reveal.
