Jill Duggar is mom-shamed after sharing a new photo of 10-month son in a car seat
Jill Duggar under fire after posting a photograph of her two children
Jill Duggar Dillard, 27, is used to being under the eye of a critical audience. She is one of the Duggars and from 2008 to 2015 she was part of a reality show, 19 Kids and Counting.
Dillard is facing a wave of anger from fans after she posted a photograph of her children on Instagram. In her photo, Dillard is holding her oldest son, Israel, while next to her baby Samuel is strapped into his car-seat.
One of the objections the critics raised was the way little Sam was seated in his chair. Fans believe his position was not safe. Others thought that Sam looked too big for his car seat and that the structure would, therefore, offer inadequate protection.
Another commentator noted that the children were squinting into the direct sunlight, and that could cause cataracts later in adult life.
“We just voted! Teaching ‘em young the privilege of letting your voice be heard...and took both boys with me since Derick was at work. Lol!”

The suggestion was that Dillard should invest in good quality sunglasses for children in order to protect her sons' eyes from the sun.
Her choice of placing the car seat on top of an umbrella stroller was considered a bad choice, also in reference to safety.
In her website, Dillard had posted a video giving space-saving tips and recommended resting a car seat in a small umbrella stroller to spare herself the effort of carrying a bulky stroller.
This 'recommendation' immediately drew criticism from her fans, who noted that the flimsy umbrella strollers did not offer the same security, and people innocently following her advice may be putting their children at risk.
Dillard is a Certified Professional Midwife since 2015 and has a host of eager followers who take her advice and suggestions to heart.
