The iconic Mariah Carey recently wowed fans after she shared an epic throwback picture in the company of her beautiful mother and one of the biggest stars in the music industry. The singer recently made headlines after she confessed she has been suffering from a serious mental illness for years.

In the photo, a pretty much younger Mariah is smiling brightly to the camera alongside her mother, Patricia Carey, and the Italian operatic tenor Luciano Pavarotti, who was in life one of the most successful tenors of all time.Carey shared the iconic photo on Mother’s Day, and wrote in the caption:
“Happy Mother's Day to all the mommies in the land & of course my mommy Patricia Carey. Remembering this moment with "The Maestro" Luciano Pavarotti!”

Mariah fans are still recovering from the news she shared just a few months ago about the state of her mental health after she confessed in an interview with People that she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder seventeen years ago.
She said to the publication:
“I’m just in a really good place right now, where I’m comfortable discussing my struggles with bipolar II disorder. I’m hopeful we can get to a place where the stigma is lifted from people going through anything alone. It can be incredibly isolating. It does not have to define you and I refuse to allow it to define me or control me.”
Mariah has been through some difficult situations in her life, but she has also enjoyed the perks of fame and fortune, and having the opportunity of meeting Pavarotti is probably ranked high in the list of best things that happened in her life.
