NBC Universal Vice Chairman Ron Meyer and wife allegedly split after 25 years of marriage
Vice Chairman of NBC Universal Ron Meyer and his wife of more than 20 years, Kelly Chapman Meyer, have separated, reported Page Six.
According to the news outlet, the couple had been talking about their split only to their closest friends, who spread the news ‘around town’ and now it is an open secret. When Page Six reached the couple for comment, they got a letter proving that the separation was real.
In their declaration, the ex-couple confessed that they made the ‘difficult’ decision to part ways after 28 years together. The Meyers added that they remained to be best friends and that they would always share the love they have for their family.
Ron and Kelly have been managing things in such an amicable way that they are still living together in their famed Malibu beach compound. The 73-year-old man once told the Wall Street Journal the way he does business.

He pointed out that people should never mistake niceness for weakness and added that he thought peace was better than war.
That last sentence could be linked to the current situation he has been going through with Kelly as they have not filed for divorce yet, reported Page Six.
Even though the idea of living with their ex might not be the smartest one, their house is 13,693 square feet long, which means that they have plenty of space to be alone, if that’s what they need.

One of the reasons their house is so famous is that it was a hot ticket for parties filled with celebrities, mostly because Ron helped stars such as Barbra Streisand, Tom Cruise, Sylvester Stallone, and Meryl Streep to be as successful as they are.
Before walking down the aisle with Kelly, Ron was married to Ellen Meyer, to whom he shares two daughters, movie production executive Sarah Meyer and celebrity jeweler Jennifer Meyer.
Ron and Kelly welcomed to the world two children, as well, but they are not as famous as Sarah and Jennifer.
