Video of 10-year-old girl singing 'You raise me up' with popular German singer
This little girl is already a vocal powerhouse, but she couldn't reach the finals of America's Got Talent.
Celine Tam, a 10-year-old from Hong Kong, made it to the semifinals of the popular singing contest in season 12. Unfortunately, she was eliminated from the show by Mel B after singing a song the former Spice Girl considered "too big."
Tam and her fans were devastated. But luckily for her, others around the world had witnessed her incredible voice.
It wasn't long before German singer Helene Fischer invited Tam to share the stage with her to sing a duet of You Raise Me Up, and the clip of the duo singing quickly made it to YouTube.
Fischer opened the song with the first lines, and Tam looks visibly awestruck as she stares up at her gracious host from the German's waist height.
But the moment it's her turn to sing, she leaves the crowd stunned.
From the very first note that Tam sings, the crowd is in her corner, whooping and clapping for the youngster as she belts out the tune perfectly.
By the time the pair reaches the bridge, the audience is up on their feet in support, and Tam and Fischer sweetly reach out for one another's hands.
Tam, who was named for the Canadian singer Celine Dion, has certainly channeled her inner Dion when it comes to her incredible voice.
