Regina King's adult son shows off shoulder tattoo in shirtless pic
Regina King’s son Ian Alexander Jr. is all grown and the photos to prove it. Mother and son are so close that they have matching tattoos and have attended classes together. Judging from her Instagram posts, you would be hard-pressed to believe that the pair is mother and son.
Regina King, who has had significant roles in TV series "227," "How Stella Got Her Groove Back," and "Enemy of the State," as well as "24" and "Southland" is a proud mother of one. Her son, Ian Alexander Jr. is clearly the apple of her eye as she has made clear on Instagram. He recently showed off his tattoo in a recent photo and it impressed us at Celebritist to learn that his famous momma has similar artwork on her lower arm.
The tattoo is not just beautiful art; it means unconditional love Aramaic. The pair took Kaballah classes together and decided to get the tattoo while at it. Ian suggested that they each pick three tattoos and get whichever matched. That is how they ended up with unconditional love in different parts of their bodies.
King told CNN that it took being a mother for her to realize the meaning of true love and also to appreciate her mom the way she does now.
"I get emotional because my son is an amazing young man, and it took me to be a mother for me to realize how incredible of a woman she (my mother) is. You don't know what unconditional love is. You may say you do, but if you don't have a child, you don't know what that is. But when you experience it, it is the most fulfilling ever. So, that is the greatest part about me. Being a mom to Ian."
They have a beautiful relationship.
