Two weeks ago a supporter of the Islamic state group, ISIS, went on trial in London. Husnain Rashid was accused of encouraging attacks on Prince George.

The threat on the boy’s life has resulted in more security for him at school and elsewhere according to TMZ. Last week, the ISIS supporter admitted his charges.

Prince George, 4, will be getting heightened security at his school, St. Thomas's Battersea. More officers will also accompany him and his grandmother, Carole Middleton (Kate's mother), during their outings together.

Prosecutors revealed that the terrorist responsible for these added measures was Husnain Rashid, 32. He was a former mosque teacher in northwest England.

Rashid provided an ‘e-toolkit for terrorism.’ The former teacher had encouraged attacks on a range of targets, including ‘injecting poison into supermarket ice creams and targeting Prince George at his first school.’

The Guardian reported that one of Rashid's posts included a photo of George and his school. It included a message where he threatened the Royal Family.

‘Even the royal family will not be left alone.’

Last week, after previously saying he’d done nothing wrong, Rashid admitted to a number of terror offenses. According to CNN, they included his encouragement of terrorism.

Prince George is the eldest child of Prince William and Duchess Kate. He was seen last month at Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan's Royal wedding where he served as a page boy

There will be a bigger security presence than usual at the event. The Royal Family is said to be choosing not to lay low or retreat in the wake of the ISIS threat.
