Reddit co-founder, Alexis Ohanian, went to his Instagram Live platform to chat with his followers who asked different things about parenting, business, and Armenian culture.

However, he never expected that his own wife, tennis player Serena Williams, could chime in at the comment sections to ask random and unexpected things and to reply to a couple of the Instagram users who were watching the Live.

Twitter user @agerenesh, who produces the podcast The Ringer, put together a couple of screenshots showing Williams’ comments. One of the things she did was asking her husband to say something exciting.

After that, she wrote: ‘can you surprise me with a bag?’ Right above that comment, Instagram user @hexner14 asked if Ohanian could ice-skate.

He had no time to reply as Williams quickly commented that he couldn’t do it. The final image uploaded by @agerenesh showed Williams asking Ohanian if he had ever been to Compton, which is Williams’ hometown.

As Mashable reported, all Ohanian could do was laughing when he noticed that his wife was commenting on his Instagram Live.

When Williams asked him to surprise her with a bag, Ohanian confessed that he had planned to buy her a ‘get well soon’ present for her most recent chest muscle injury that made her retire from the French Open on June 4.

Ohanian and Williams have been together for a while already. They became engaged on December 10, 2016, and got married in New Orleans almost one year later, on November 16, 2017.

Only two months before tying the knot, the couple’s only daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian, was born. Since she had to rest during and after the pregnancy, Williams missed many tennis tournaments.

When she finally came back for the French Open, she suffered a painful injury in her right pectoral muscle. At the moment, she is in the U.S. with her family waiting for the medical results to know for sure how bad the injury was.
