Jaleel White steals hearts with photo of growing daughter on her last day of school

Jaleel White, best known for the sitcom Family Matters, took to his Instagram account to share a photo of himself and his daughter during the last day of school.

In the image, Jaleel and Samaya where shown in a car driving back home from school. Jaleel wore a white shirt, a black sweater, matching sunglasses, and a multicolored cap while Samaya appeared with the school uniform showing a big open-mouth smile.

For the caption, Jaleel wrote that it was the last day of school and added the hashtag That Went Fast. As soon as he uploaded that picture, his fans and followers took to the comment section to share their thoughts.

One of them was Instagram user @nicki__jean, who pointed out that Jaleel and Samaya looked like twins. Apart from that, she confessed that the photo was the cutest thing she saw during that day.

Another user who chimed in was @sunrisetk42. She commented that Samaya was energetic and beautiful just like her father. Finally, the user asked Jaleel if he still had the energy to keep up with her.

41-year-old Jaleel, who had Samaya in 2009, surprised his more than 270,000 Instagram followers as he rarely posts photos of his family on social media.

The project that took Jaleel to stardom was Family Matters, wherein he took the role of Steve Urkel. According to People, Jaleel’s character was intended to be a one-time guest.

However, the audience fell in love with Steve, so he was given a full-time starring role. As time passed by, Jaleel was given other characters to play in the same sitcom, including Steve’s alter-ego Stefan Urquelle and Myrtle Urkel.

Not only Jaleel was one of the principal actors of the series, but also wrote a couple of episodes. When he was 19 years old, one of the episodes he wrote was the show’s highest rated for that year.

At the moment, he is focused on spending time with his daughter while he stars working on a new project.
