George and Amal Clooney share tender kiss in public

George Clooney, one of the most famous and beloved personalities in Hollywood, attended his AFI Life Achievement Award Tribute with his wife.

The ceremony took place in Los Angeles on Thursday, June 7, 2018, and honored the prestigious actor, who is still going strong, beingconsidered a true legend in the film industry.

Clooney was accompanied by his wife, Amal Clooney, with whom he married back in September 2014. The tribute event was the couple's first public appearance since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Royal Wedding on May 19.

The 57-year-old actor appeared to be quite happy and was spotted smiling throughout the evening. George and Amal didn't refrain from sharing their love for each other either and kissed in front of a crowd of family and friends.

George's father, Nick, was also in attendance, along with some of his friends, including Cate Blanchett, Jimmy Kimmel, Bill Murray, Courtney Cox and Jennifer Aniston.

All of George's accomplishments, from early TV credits in Roseanne and Facts of Life to the Oscars won for Best Picture in Argo and Best Supporting Actor in Syriana, were highlighted for everyone to see.

But while the AFI tribute was a moment of pure joy and worthy of being celebrated, the actor was happier with the fact that the twins he shares with Amal just turned one.

The babies, Ella and Alexander, celebrated their first birthday on Wednesday, and George couldn't be prouder of them. He even jokingly told reporters that the twins commemorated the occasion by sipping a bottle of booze.

When it came to Father's Day, 40-year-old Amal didn't reveal what the couple had planned but George, keeping his good humor alive and well, shared that Ella and Alexander were already trying to bake him a cake.
