Lupita Nyong'o turns heads with jewels on her eyes and plunging yellow dress

The actress showcases yet another style statement as she channels "glamour with a touch of quirk" in her latest red carpet outing.

She never fails to impress in any red carpet event she graces. And Lupito Nyong’o was true to her reputation when she showed up bejeweled at the 22ndAnnual Accessories Council ACE Awards.

Stunning in a sunny yellow dress by Carolina Herrera, the 35-year-old actress drew attention to her colorful eye accessories. She fashioned green and blue Swarovski cabochon gemstones on the inner and outer corners of her eyes creating a fresh fashion statement to add to her many fabulous style moments.

Highlighting her sparklers even more, she defined them with dark liner on the lash line and covered her lids with tangerine orange shadow with the help of her make-up artist Nick Barose. Describing his model’s crystal-embellished face as “glamour with a touch of quirk”, he revealed in his own post of the Lancome ambassador’s look that it was inspired by Pride Month.

The ‘Black Panther’ star’s cheery frock adorned with bird patterns showcased her toned arms as well as her slim waist emphasized by the thin light blue ribbon around it. She carried with her an interesting rhinestone pineapple clutch by Judith Leiber while revealing her light blue-painted nails that matched the trimmings of her dress.

Lupita arrived at the event with her stylist Micaela Erlanger who was also a recipient of the Style Influencer Award that night. Describing her style guru, the Kenyan-Mexican celebrity revealed,

“Micaela always turns it out, but for the whole Black Panther campaign, I really felt like I was from Wakanda and beyond. And always quite a lot of fabulous accessories. Micaela is both daring and practical. She facilitates me taking risks, but also brings me back to earth when I’m getting a little too imaginative, and I know I do the same for her. She’s still trying to get me into six-inch heels that she herself won’t wear!”

Lupita’s latest fashion statement is a stark contrast to her last one at the CFDA Awards where she rocked a vampy Atelier Versace mini complete with winged eyes, shimmering lips and a huge intricate black choker.

She paraded her look in a video she shared on Instagram where she stood against a colorful background while rotating her hips to showcase her dress.
