J-Lo and Alex Rodriguez snuggle up with their kids in adorable family dinner photo

The 42-year-old baseball shortstop Alex Rodriquez, also known as A-Rod to his fans, shared an adorable family of him, Jennifer Lopez and their children.

The photo, shared with his 1.5 million followers, received more than 138,000 likes and a 1,000 comments in less than 24 hours. In the caption, he simply wrote: 'Taco Tuesday.

The family can be seen relaxing on the couch with their children: 13-year-old Natasha and 10-year-old Ella from Rodriguez's marriage to Cynthia Scurtis.

Lopez's 10-year-old daughter Emme is also in the snapshot. Emme's twin brother Max isn't in the snapshot but makes an appearance later that evening on Lopez's Instagram account

In the image, she can be seen hugging Emme, while Rodriguez embraces Max. In Instagram user known only as Kaily said the picture 'shows exactly what goes on in real life: Alex and Jen have created a beautiful family.'

Lizzy added that a mother's love is like no other, while Iraida Maksutovna said nothing is more important than family. Joanna noted that those few minutes before bedtime are precious.

Another follower known only as Ile said 'a man that loves your kids is the right guy because [children] are your ultimate treasure.'

Alex Messina also loved the family photo and added that 'unfiltered, fuzzy candid photos oozing with love' make for the best memories and are the 'moments that matter most.'

Lopez was married to Marc Anthony from 2004 until 2012 and Max and Emme were born in 2008. Following her divorce, she dated dancer Casper Smart for five years.

Rodriguez married Cynthia Scurtis in 2002, and Natasha was born two years later. Ella was born in 2008, just three months before Scurtis filed for divorce.
