Elton John: Prince Harry inherited his mother's incredible gift to make all people feel equal
The musical icon opened up about Prince Harry's noble character that he inherited from his famous late mother.
BBC Newsnight shared on Twitter a video of Elton John, in which the musical icon revealed that Prince Harry had his late mother, Princess Diana's ability to walk into any room and making "people of any caste or any status in life" feel equal.
John explained that he thought such an ability to make everyone feel comfortable was an "incredible gift." He further told that Princess Diana was one of the very few people who were capable of doing it.
He further attributed Harry's desire to "do more with the AIDS community and more with the commonwealth community and the young" to this very gift.
This was not the first time that John has spoken highly of Prince Harry and his special inheritance from his mother, Princess Diana.
Elton, who was Diana's longtime friend, also put forward similar views previously in an HBO documentary titled Diana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy.
According to a report from People, John said, "She had that incredible ability — which [Harry] kind of inherited — to make people feel at ease and make them feel that everything’s gonna be all right.”
He also explained that Diana could just walk into a room full of people and make them feel that everything was going great.
The 71-year -old star further admitted that he sees the same kindness as well as a willingness to help others in Prince Harry as well.
Especially highlighting Diana's endeavors to help AIDS community, John stated that it was incredible that despite her royalty, she came forth for a cause that was looked down upon as a social taboo.
