US Magazine: Ozzy Osbourne's son speaks publicly about divorce for the first time

Ozzy Osbourne’s son, Jack Osbourne, finally opened up about his divorce on his social media page.

On Instagram, Jack spoke for the first time about the separation since his wife of more than five years, Lisa Osbourne, filed for divorce.

According to reports, Lisa had been asking for joint and legal custody of their three children, along with spousal support.

In an interview with Us Weekly, Jack shared that things have been going good for them. He said, “We’re trucking along and it is what it is.”

It seems as though the couple is ready to move on and adjust to the life of being co-parents.

Recently, Jack shared a lengthy joint statement on his Instagram page where he talked about how he and Lisa still love each other but have chosen to be just co-parents and best friends.

Since the news shocked the public, the star felt the need to speak out and keep the people up to date with what has been going on with his and Lisa’s relationship.

Jack clarified that there is still love between the both of them and explained that family is still the topmost priority in their lives.

He admitted that they tried to make their relationship work for many years but they clearly have not succeeded.

‘What’s best for our family right now is that we separate lovingly, and remain best friends who are committed to raising our children together,’ he wrote.

Although he admitted that he and Lisa are disappointed with the fact that they chose to separate, he said that they are also confident in the thought that they will still continue to grow as co-parents and best friends.

On May 18th, the news about their separation became public after Lisa filed for divorce at the Los Angeles County. It had only been weeks after they had welcomed their third child at the time.

According to the court documents, the official date of their separation was May 4, 2018.

Jack and Lisa, who were married in October 2012, share 6-year-old Pearl, 2-year-old Andy, and 5-month-old Minnie.
