Britney and Jamie Lynn Spears take rare family photo with all their kids

The 36-year-old pop star Britney Spears and her younger sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, 27, came together over the weekend for Jamie Lynn's daughter's birthday.

An adorable family photo was shared with Jamie Lynn's 1.5 million Instagram followers and shows the two sisters with their four children, as well their brother Bryan and his daughter, Sophia.

The lesser-known Spears brother has a private Instagram account and prefers to spend his time behind the camera, as a film and television producer.

The caption simply said 'Family,' with a heart emoji on either side. Britney was wearing a red tube top and sat next to Bryan, while Jamie Lynn opted for a Nike hat and blue-and-white check top.

Jamie Lynn's eldest child, daughter Maddie, celebrated her 10th birthday over the weekend, and her nieces and nephews were there to celebrate with her.

She was joined by her younger sister, the 2-month-old Ivey Joan, niece Sophia as well as Britney's sons, 12-year-old Sean Preston, 11-year-old Jayden James.

More than 84,000 fans liked the photo, and 560 took to the comment section. Dave Herb said he loves when the family reunites while Becca remarked that Britney's sons take after their father.

Britney was married to dancer and rapper Kevin Federline from 2004 until 2006. An intense custody battle followed after their divorce.

Crystal Gailey said everybody in the Spears family is iconic in their own way, and a user known only as CarolinaGD547 added that she'd been a fan of Britney since her 11th birthday.

Ashely Brooks Bennett said the photo makes her heart happy, while Lauren Michele from Delaware said 'what a beautiful group of people.'

Fans of Britney can look forward to her Pieces of Me Tour, which will continue in July 2018. She will also perform at the Formula One Grand Prix in October.
