The 41-year-old celebrity chef and entrepreneur, Buddy Valastro, shared the secret of his weight loss success.

He told his 2.6 million Instagram followers that he received a ton of questions about losing weight and that he uses the Optavia program.

Valastro added that people interested in trying the program should still consult their physicians because 'every body [sic] is different and you should do whatever suits you.'

Nevertheless, it works for him, and he is pleased with the results. As reported by People, the reality television star loves cooking at home.

He prefers not to go out and keeps a 'fully-stocked' fridge in his garage for when he needs to prepare a feast fit for a king for his family-of-six.

According to Daily Mail, Valastro and his wife, Lisa, will be celebrating 18 years of marriage this year, and they have four children: Sofia, Bartolo, Marco, and Carlo.

He lives in New Jersey and is the owner of Carlo's Bakery, the same establishment featured in the popular reality show, Cake Boss.

Since soaring to fame, he opened 17 branches of Carlo's Bakery in Philadelphia, New York, Orlando, Minneapolis, Vegas, and even in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

He also owns an event planning company called Buddy V's Events, which he founded four years ago. The company caters to corporate events, galas, and weddings.

Cake Boss first aired in 2009, when he signed a contract with TLC, and showcases his edible art cakes as well as behind-the-scenes glimpses of Carlo's Bakery.

Since Cake Boss' inception, the network also released a spin-off show called Kitchen Boss, which focusses on Valastro's weekday family recipes.

Season 10 of Cake Boss aired in September last year, and the show has been renewed for an upcoming season. To learn more, follow us on Twitter, at AmoMama USA.
