TMZ: Michael Jackson's father hospitalized with cancer

Joe Jackson, the mind behind the famous Jackson 5, has been hospitalized with terminal cancer and his family has been by his bedside.

The 89-year-old manager has been battling the disease for quite some time and he appears to be at the end stages. His wife, Katherine, has been spending time with him, as well as the rest of his family.

The news was revealed by TMZ, with the publication claiming that the Jackson family patriarch's cancer cannot be treated and that is unclear how much time he has left.

Jermaine Jackson, one of Joe's children, confessed to the Daily Mail that his father was 'very, very frail' and that he wouldn't be around for much longer.

It seems that the Jackson family members' intention is to make Joe's final days as happy and comfortable as possible, guaranteeing that he Has an easy passage to the other side.

On June 6, Joe took to his Twitter page to share a video of himself seating at a Jamba Juice table, claiming that he was unsure on what to order from the menu.

“So many choices to select from.With my son Michael’s music playing in the background. I wanna be starting .. drinking all three.”

The 89-year-old had previously been hospitalized on account of a high fever in May 2016, and a year earlier, Joe forced his daughter Janet Jackson to postpone her Unbreakable World Tour rehearsals after he had a stroke and a heart arrhythmia in Brazil.

Aside from his severe health problems, Joe was also involved in a crash in 2017. He was a passenger in the vehicle that he was in, which ended up colliding with a wall after the driver failed to make a turn to enter a private driveway.

Joe was transported to University Medical Center, from where he was later discharged. The former Jackson 5 manager didn't suffer any injuries but was left a little shook.
