Joanna Gaines shared cute photos of newborn son getting his first cuddles

The Gaines family, known for their HGTV reality show Fixer Upper, welcomed their fifth child over the weekend! Proud mom Joanna shared his first photos.

On Sunday, she took to Instagram and shared with her 7.9 million followers a beautiful snapshot of newborn Crew Gaines.

Joanna said in the description that Crew 'made an unexpected (and speedy) entrance into the world two and half weeks early - which is fitting given he was a sweet surprise from day one.'

She also thanked their family, friends, and fans for their thoughts and prayers and added that they are grateful and 'couldn't be more in love'

Proud father Chip Gaines also took to social media and shared the news with his Twitter followers. 'And then there were 5,' he wrote.

He added the hashtag 'blessed beyond belief, and his announcement received more than 92,000 likes and nearly 5,000 retweets, while Joanna's Instagram post was liked 2.6 million times.

'The Gaines crew is now 1 stronger! 10 beautiful toes and 10 beautiful fingers all accounted for, and big momma is doing great!'

Chip and Joanna recently celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary. They met 17 years ago while Joanna was still working for her father. Their eldest child, Drake, was born in 2005.
