"Love seeing that she's following your footsteps and cameos in yours and Ben's movies! ❤️" one commenter wrote. Another person said, "Miss those stories you used to tell of your kids on Ellen!"

Vivian is the oldest daughter of Melissa and actor-director Ben Falcone. The longtime couple also share younger daughter Georgette Falcone.

Despite their enormous fame, Melissa and Ben have spent years carefully shielding their children from the spotlight, only occasionally offering fans tiny, treasured glimpses into their home life through interviews and rare social media posts.

The Actress Previously Shared Another Emotional Tribute

The latest birthday celebration comes just one year after Melissa honored Vivian's 18th birthday with another deeply emotional Instagram message.

At the time, the actress praised her daughter's compassion, personality, and individuality in a post that resonated with parents everywhere.

"Eighteen years ago this wonderful creature came into my life and taught me what true kindness and empathy and the importance of being really weird means," Melissa wrote. "I'm so lucky to be your mama. You make the world better!"

Over the years, Melissa has repeatedly encouraged both of her daughters to embrace their quirks and personalities rather than conform to expectations.

In a previous interview with People, the actress opened up about teaching her children to proudly stand out instead of blending in.

"How boring would it be if we were all the same? We're drawn to each other because of all our weird, unexplainable character quirks," she said. "Life is short. Just be yourself!"

She also explained that both Vivian and Georgette enjoy experimenting with makeup and hairstyles — not to appear older, but as a creative outlet and form of self-expression.

"They both really like makeup, but it's really used as this tool for expression," Melissa shared. "It's not to look older or other than."

Their Daughters Have Already Stepped Into Hollywood

Although Melissa and Ben have largely kept their daughters away from public attention, both girls have quietly appeared in several family-connected film projects over the years.

In another television appearance, Melissa recalled a bizarre conversation about karate lessons that ultimately revealed Georgette wanted a sparring dummy she could practice punching. The actress joked that she and Ben were briefly alarmed by the unexpected request.

But beneath the humor, Melissa has often spoken emotionally about how proud she is of the confident and compassionate young women her daughters are becoming.

"There's such hope in that they're so much more evolved than I was at that age," she previously shared. "And they're kind, so to have all of that come together is lovely."

The actress has also admitted she struggles emotionally with the idea of her daughters growing up and eventually leaving home.

At one point, she even joked that she considered getting an apartment in Scotland after one of her daughters discussed possibly attending school there.

Last year, Melissa gave followers another rare and glamorous look at Vivian while celebrating her daughter's high school prom.

The actress shared photos showing Vivian wearing a dramatic blue-and-white princess-style gown complete with layered ruffles and striking crimson-colored hair.

As Vivian enters the final year of her teens, Melissa's latest tribute offered fans another touching glimpse into the tight-knit family bond she and Ben have worked so hard to protect away from the glare of Hollywood.
