They met in 2005 at G'Day L.A., an event in Australians' honor, and ended up tying the knot a year later in Sydney. Since then, their relationship hasn't wavered a bit and they continue to be one of the most popular couples in Hollywood.

In order to commemorate a dozen years together, the country singer took to his Instagram page to share with his fans and followers a photo of himself playing the piano while Kidman danced behind him.

The two have a very special way of handling marriage, which, according to the actress, who recently turned 51 on Wednesday, June 20, has kept them going throughout the years.

In Kidman's opinion, one of the main points of a healthy relationship should be to keep the flame alive, to love each other without second thoughts and always be humble.

Although their marriage is seen as an example of success, they refrain from giving others advice when it comes to love matters. One of the most important rules in their marriage is 'no texting.'

Husband and wife talk to each other several times a day but they refuse to do so through words; instead, they make phone calls and Facetime one another, turning it into a much more personal experience.

The famous couple has never been afraid of showing the world how much they value their love, whether through public displays of affection or romantic posts on social media.

As a response to Urban's Instagram tribute to their 12-year relationship, Kidman posted a short but very sweet video of the two kissing on their wedding day, with flashes of a church and Manly Beach, in Australia, in the background.
