Brandy steals hearts with photos of daughter at her 16th birthday party

Singer and actress Brandy Norwood, known professionally as Brandy, took to Instagram to share photos of her daughter’s 16-birthday party.

One of the pictures of the four-image slideshow portrayed Brandy and her daughter Sy’rai Iman Smith posing for the camera in front of a shiny black and golden curtain wearing party hats.

For the next three photos, the duo took different poses and wore different hats while shining their big smiles proving just how good relationship they have. Sy’rai put on a loose grey blouse covering a black crop top.

Brandy opted for a pink coat that had a deep V-cut design that attracted a lot of attention. In the caption, the proud mother emphasized her beautiful relationship with her daughter.

She confessed that if she were 16, Sy’rai would be her best friend in ‘the whole wide world.’ Later, Brandy confessed that if Sy’rai were Brandy’s age, they would also be best friends.

The mother finally admitted being grateful for Sy’rai being her daughter and confessed that the party had been ‘the best.’ As soon as she uploaded those photos, her fans and followers took to the comment section to share their thoughts.

One of them was Instagram user Kym Myers, who pointed out that Sy’rai was very beautiful and confident. Lia Scott chimed in and said that Brandy and her daughter looked like sisters.

The girl’s birthday party took place a couple of days after she and Brandy went to Rodeo Drive in Los Angeles to spend the birthday money that her uncle Ray J and aunt Princess Love gave her.

Sy’rai is Brandy’s only child. The young woman was born in June 2002 when the singer was in a relationship with producer Robert ‘Big Bert’ Smith.
