Baby says 'Mama' after dad reads a whole book about 'Dada' (video)

A father works very hard to hear his son say “Dada,” but was disappointed when another word was out of his baby’s mouth.

Another big day to celebrate is when the baby says his/her first words. Most of the babies say “Mama” or “Dada” as their first word.

Though many parents never admit to it, they always try to convince their child to say their name first.

The father in the video thought he had it all figured out. He would coax his little son into saying “Dada” using a children’s book.

The man is seen reading a book, considered a secret weapon used by fathers - Your Baby’s First Word Will be Dada by Jimmy Fallon.

The book uses a clever trick that could make the toddler’s say “Dada” before they can say “Mama.”

The father lies next to his and flips the pages of the book. He goes through different animal noises followed by the word dada.

He starts off with a cow – he starts to moo followed by the word he wants to hear. He also seems to be quite good at the animal noises, while the mother records the whole action on camera.

As the father is reading, his son eagerly turns the pages of the book and is delighted to hear the different sounds.

Just as they are about to finish the book, the man makes his final animal noise and suddenly his son stares at him, before turning to the camera.

He then mutters “mama” even as the parents burst into laughter. The father never saw it coming and is surprised by the little one’s choice of word.

The hilarious moment has caught everyone’s attention and has been viewed over 922,000 times and got more than 35,000 likes on YouTube.
