Prince Jackson mourns grandfather Joe's death with touching tribute
Prince Jackson, one of the children of the King of Pop Michael Jackson, took to Instagram to share a photo of his grandfather Joe Jackson to show his condolences.
In the image, Prince is portrayed wearing beige pants, a sleeveless, black hoodie, and a matching cap. Next to him was Joe, who passed away on June 27, wearing blue jeans, a red shirt, and a black hat.
Even though the photo was an essential aspect of the post, the message Prince wrote was the highlight of it. He started by writing that Joe was and will always be an example of ‘sheer willpower’ and dedication.
Prince added that Joe didn’t choose the easy path but the one that was better for his entire family.

The proud grandson said that Joe taught him to take pride in the Jackson name, to be dedicated even while facing adversity, and to be strong and fearless. Prince added that there would never be someone like Joe.

Finally, he urged his grandfather to ‘fly free’ until they meet again. As soon as he uploaded that image, his fans and followers took to the social media to share their thoughts. One of them was Instagram user @bridgit.fanpage, who confessed that Joe was the person who made the Jackson family popular.
According to ET Online, Joe was in a hospital in Las Vegas after dealing with terminal cancer. They added that Joe had been dealing with that illness for some time and that doctors told the family that he had limited time left.
Apart from his cancer, he suffered some health issues in recent years, including a life-threatening stroke on Joe’s 87th birthday.
Even before his passing, several rumors were surrounding Joe claiming that he had died. However, Joe himself would use his social media accounts to shut those rumors down.
Joe passed away at 89 years of age. He is survived by nine children and several grandchildren.
