Sherri Shepherd shares photos with son from their 'just Mommy & Jeffrey vacation'
Actress and comedian Sherri Shepherd, who was one of the co-hosts of The View from 2007 to 2014, took to Instagram to share photos of her and one of her sons.
The image portrayed Sherri and her son Jeffrey flashing their big smiles. She put on a sleeveless blouse and big rounded earrings while the boy put on an orange shirt and blue glasses.
In the caption, the actress pointed out that they were starting their ‘just mommy & Jeffrey’ vacation. She tagged the Instagram account of Walt Disney World, suggesting that they would spend those vacations there.
A couple of hours after that, Sherri uploaded another image to her social media account posing next to Jeffrey. She put on a fuchsia blouse and blue pants while the boy wore a white t-shirt.
For the caption, the proud mother revealed that they were having a great time on their vacation in Disney. Sherri added that they had many things left to do and that every ride made her feel young.
As soon as the actress uploaded that photo, her fans and followers took to the comment section to share their thoughts. One of them was Instagram user @mquinn08_onyt, who confessed that both Jeffrey and Sherri looked happy.
The user added that the family needed those vacations and their bonding time. Finally, they said that they loved the smiles on the duo’s faces.
According to Page Six, Sherri and Lamar Sally, her ex-husband, split in May 2014, shortly before their son, Lamar Sally Jr., was born via donor egg and surrogate. After that, Lamar got the custody of the boy and Sherri started sending them money as for the child support.
In 2017, Lamar filed a petition to increase the payments from $4,100 per month, but a judge denied the request. According to Sherri, her ex-husband wanted more money so he could stop working.
After that, the actress went to The Dr. Oz Show to talk about the relationship she and her ex-husband had and all the drama involving their child.
In it, she confessed that Lamar Jr. didn’t have to worry about anything as he was on his health insurance and he would be taken care of the way Jeffrey would in the case something bad happened to her.
Sherri finally said that she chose to ‘take herself out’ because it was worse for a child with two parents not getting along.
