Tom Holland and Zendaya are said to have officially married. The claim came from Zendaya's stylist, Law Roach, who shared that the wedding had already taken place, catching many by surprise. Throughout their years-long relationship, the two have made a conscious effort to balance fame with privacy.

Law’s revelation followed a conversation with an Entertainment Tonight reporter, who pointed out that he and Zendaya share the kind of stylist–celebrity partnership many aspire to have.

With her wedding approaching, the journalist asked whether he had already started envisioning her bridal looks and if he usually brings ideas to her. The reporter also wondered whether Zendaya prefers to take the lead in defining the aesthetic she wants for the occasion.

The actress's longtime stylist replied, "Y'all the wedding already happened," before adding playfully, "Y'all missed it." When the journalist followed up with, "Well, you know the other day they said she had on a gold band," Law confirmed with a laugh, "The wedding's happened, sorry."

Back in July 2025, Law also addressed Zendaya and Tom's nuptials, suggesting that the actress was in no rush to walk down the aisle. More than six months after the engagement, he said on the red carpet at the Las Culturistas Culture Awards in Los Angeles that wedding preparations had yet to begin.

He noted, "Zendaya is working on so many movies. She's now filming the next iteration of Dune, so she's away doing that. It's so many movies, so we have time. We have a lot of time."

He declined to share any details about the designer behind her future wedding dress. As for what kind of bride Zendaya would be, Law hinted that she would be "a secret bride."

Mom's Reaction Adds Fuel to the Speculation

Law's recent remarks suggesting the wedding had already taken place quickly fueled online conversation, with Zendaya's mother, Claire Stoermer, also weighing in.

On Monday, March 2, Claire reshared the video of the 47-year-old stylist discussing Tom and Zendaya's alleged wedding on her Instagram Stories. Alongside the clip, she wrote, "The laugh..." and included a laughing emoji.

From 'Spider-Man' Co-Stars to Secret Sweethearts

In 2017, less than a week after "Spider-Man: Homecoming" premiered in theaters nationwide, a source revealed that co-stars Tom and Zendaya had begun dating. According to the insider, the two first connected while working on set, developed a friendship, and eventually grew closer romantically a few months later.

The source described them as widely liked by those around them and noted that Tom, in particular, was regarded as especially grounded.

Although they kept their relationship largely out of the public eye and did not make it official on Instagram, the pair appeared side by side at several "Spider-Man" red carpet events. Another insider also claimed that Zendaya accompanied Holland when he got his Spider-Man-inspired tattoo at Bang Bang Tattoo months earlier.

Observers suggested that their transition from co-stars to something more may have been fueled by their shared ambition and similar sense of humor. A source shared that they challenge one another, enjoy joking together, and have an easy, natural back-and-forth dynamic.

"They've been super careful to keep it private and out of the public eye, but they've gone on vacations with each other and try, and spend as much time as possible with one another," the source added.

The actors did not formally confirm the relationship at the time, though they playfully addressed the speculation on X after reports surfaced.

In 2021, Tom took to Instagram to mark Zendaya's birthday, posting a photo of the two of them on set. In the image, he is seen wearing his Spider-Man suit while Zendaya stands behind him with a camera, capturing the moment. He captioned the post, "My MJ, have the happiest of birthdays. Gimme a call when your [sic] up xxx."

That same year, Zendaya shared a heartfelt post about Tom. The main image in the collage showed him performing stunts on set as Spider-Man, while another photo featured him as a young boy in a Spider-Man suit. She wrote, "My Spider-Man, I’m so proud of you, some things never change and good thing♥️@tomholland2013."

Although they no longer share each other's photos as frequently as they once did, their bond has only deepened as their relationship has progressed.

A Christmas Proposal and a $500K Ring Reveal

In January 2025, reports surfaced that Tom and Zendaya had taken a major step forward in their relationship with an engagement. Sources close to the couple indicated that the proposal took place between Christmas and New Year's in 2024.

Tom is said to have gotten down on one knee in an intimate setting at one of Zendaya's family homes in the US. Rather than staging a grand public gesture, the moment was described as romantic and deeply personal, shared only between the two of them without family present.

An insider noted that although the pair had spoken about marriage over the years, Zendaya was unaware that a proposal was imminent. Given how much they value their privacy, it was reportedly important to Tom that the occasion remain private as well.

Tom is also said to have sought the blessing of Zendaya's father, Kazembe Ajamu Coleman, as well as her mother beforehand. Dominic Holland, his dad, shared these details. "Tom had everything planned out… When, where, how, what to say, what to wear. I, on the other hand, was woefully ill-prepared, almost as though I wasn't taking it seriously," noted Dominic.

Zendaya later debuted her engagement ring at the 82nd Annual Golden Globe Awards at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California, on January 5, 2025. The sizable diamond quickly drew attention, with many noting its striking appearance.

Tom had gone all out by proposing with a five-carat oval-shaped diamond ring set in 18k white and yellow gold. The ring, worth $500,000, is by London-based designer Jessica McCormack.

Zendaya's engagement ring debut, along with a remark Tom made during an interview, confirmed to fans that the couple was engaged. The actor gently corrected a reporter during a recent panel when the man referred to Zendaya as his girlfriend.

In the clip circulating on X, the off-camera reporter said, "I brought my daughter, and she got to meet your girlfriend." Tom laughed and responded, "Fiancée." This appeared to be the first time Tom publicly mentioned his engagement to Zendaya since it was announced.

Guarding Their Love from the Public Eye

Fans do not expect Zendaya and Tom to confirm or deny whether they have tied the knot anytime soon, given how much they value privacy. This was evident in the summer of 2021, when pictures emerged in the tabloid press showing Tom and Zendaya kissing in a car in Los Angeles.

Tom spoke out about the situation, "We sort of felt robbed of our privacy." When asked if it was because they were not ready to talk about their relationship, he added, "I don’t think it's about not being ready. It's just that we didn't want to."

He further reflected on fame, noting that one downside is that privacy is no longer fully in their control, and a moment meant for just the two of them becomes something shared with the entire world.

He also emphasized, "I've always been really adamant to keep my private life private, because I share so much of my life with the world anyway."

Tom Holland also declined to speak about their relationship without Zendaya, respecting their shared story. Zendaya later described the experience as "quite strange and weird and confusing and invasive," adding that when you truly love someone, there are moments you wish were just your own.

She explained, "I think loving someone is a sacred thing and a special thing and something that you want to deal with and go through and experience and enjoy amongst the two people that love each other."

In 2023, Zendaya also reflected on another moment, recalling a photo taken and shared of her and Tom on a boat ride in Venice. She acknowledged that certain aspects of her life are inevitably public.

Still, she emphasized, "I can't not be a person and live my life and love the person I love. But also, I do have control over what I choose to share. It's about protecting the peace and letting things be your own, but also not being afraid to exist. You can't hide. That's not fun, either. I am navigating it more than ever now."

Staying True to Their Quiet Romance

Tom and Zendaya's commitment to maintaining their privacy has been evident throughout their relationship. Although they could have capitalized on their wedding by selling the rights to high-profile magazines, reports suggest they chose to exchange vows privately.

Given how seldom they have publicly discussed their relationship, a low-key ceremony aligns with their usual approach. Despite their status as A-list celebrities and a combined net worth of £60 million, the couple reportedly leads a relatively normal life away from the spotlight.

Tom has previously highlighted the intentional quietness of their relationship, explaining that they are highly protective of it and aim to keep it as personal and sacred as possible, separate from their careers.
