Tom Holland, the 29-year-old face of Marvel's billion-dollar "Spider-Man" franchise, was rushed to the hospital after a shocking stunt mishap during filming of "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" in Watford, England. It is believed Tom cracked his head during a fall and was treated for a concussion. Though details remain scarce, it is thought that the fall occurred after a stunt went wrong.

The British star's father, Dominic, had confirmed that his son would be stepping away from filming "for a while." However, a source close to the production told Deadline that the "Spider-Man" actor's break is precautionary and that he is expected to return to set within a few days.

Zendaya will also be reprising her role as MJ, Jacob Batalon will be returning as Ned Leeds, and "Stranger Things" breakout Sadie Sink will be joining the cast.
