Princess Diana would have turned 57 years old this year
Princess Diana might have passed away in 1997, but she is still remembered today as one of the most loved and respected members of the Royal Family.
Born Diana Frances Spencer on July 1, 1961, Diana, who would later become known as the People's Princess for her kindness and humility, would turn 57 years old this year.
She lived a life full of grace and no one knew her better than her children. During an ITV special last year, Princes William and Harry remembered the last time they heard their mother's voice.
At the time of her death, Diana was in Paris with her lover, Dodi Al Fayed. She called William and Harry, who were spending time with their grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, and their father, Prince Charles, at Balmoral.

"If I'd known that that was the last time I was going to speak to my mother, the things I would have said to her."
Prince Harry, Diana, Our Mother: Life and Legacy, July 24, 2017
To Harry, who married Meghan Markle on May 19, 2018, the shortage of the call will forever be one of his deepest regrets. Despite missing her very much, the royal brothers remembered her quite fondly.

During ITV's special, titled Diana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy, Prince Harry recalled how she was fun to be around and how she used to watch them play football and smuggle sweets into their socks.
Diana might be gone, but her spirit will forever live through her actions and words. One of her mottos, according to her children, was 'be as naughty as you want, just don't get caught,' words that anyone can easily live by and be happy.
